NEW DELHI, July 5, 2025—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav today inaugurated a Training Camp as part of the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan to strengthen the party at the grass root level after the formation of Mandalams and Sectors, at the Babarpur District Congress Committee. The training camp, held in three sessions, were attended by District Executive Committees, Block presidents and Mandalam presidents, at the Babarpur District Congress Committee in North East Delhi Parliamentary constituency, under the aegis of Delhi Congress in collaboration with the All India Congress Committee. Detailed discussions on the Congress vision, the golden history of the Congress, the responsibilities of booths, mandalam, block presidents, district office-bearers and the responsibilities of the party and workers during elections were held.
The Training Camp was organized by Babarpur District Congress Committee president Shri Rajkumar Jain. DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav hoisted the flag and the national anthem and Vande Mataram were rendered by the Seva Dal workers. AICC Delhi In-charge Qazi Nizamuddin was also present. Prominent others who attended the training camp were former Delhi Minister Dr. Narendra Nath, ex-MLA Shri Anil Bhardwaj, North East Lok Sabha In-charge Shri Manoj Yadav, Shri Romesh Sabbarwal, District observer Dr. PK Mishra, Shri Ashok Basoya, Haji Zarif and all district presidents, Block presidents and District observers.
Shri Devender Yadav said that the first phase of the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan was completed successfully under the leadership of Shri Qazi Nizamuddin, In-charge of Delhi, and in the second phase, as per his instructions, the Congress training camp has started in all the districts to strengthen the party.
Shri Devender Yadav said that Congress is a political party and election is an important aspect but there is such an atmosphere in the country today that one party and the government have captured all Constitutional institutions. He said that in such a situation, the role and responsibility of the Congress workers have increased manifold than ever before during the election day and after the election. He said that Congress reposes a lot of faith and responsibility on the workers to safeguard the Constitution and the interest of the people, for which we need to organize and discuss all issues in detail and hence this training camp to equip the workers with the party’s strategy. He said that we need to organize and discuss it on public platforms, on various other forums and platforms, about the policies and programmes of the party, its history, vision and the strategy. He said that by working in the right direction, we have to create a framework on how to forcefully face all challenges unitedly by following the Congress ideology without any compromise.
Shri Devendra Yadav said that the presidents of all the District Congress Committees are also present in the Congress training camp of Babarpur District Congress, so that they can handle the training camps in their districts in a well-cordinate manner to enlighten the participants on all the aspects of the training. He said that after attending the training camp, workers can contribute to playing an important role in building a better country and society with the history, tradition, ideals and ideology of the Congress.
Shri Devender Yadav said that Congress workers, who are training in district training camps, will work in training camps to be organized under the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan to be held in the upcoming Block Congress Committee meetings.
Delhi in -charge Shri Qazi Nizamuddin said that Congress is a historic party about which we should all feel proud to work with it. He said that BJP workers exaggerate Modi’s works by spreading lies before the people but Congress workers will expose the lies of the BJP after taking training by following the example set by our leader Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji and Congress president Shri Mallikarjun Kharge to ensure that justice is served to the people
