Mumbai, Dec 15 (UNI) BSE Sensex on Tuesday tumbled down by 383 pts at 45,869.76 in opening trade, as selling was witnessed across the board.
Registering an all-time high on Monday, the equity market was seen weak in early trade as the Nifty of National Stock Exchange fell by 95.45 pts to 13,462.70
The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 46,287.39 and 45,841.67 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 13,548.65 and 13,447.05
respectively.
The Mid Cap declined by 0.55 pc and Small Cup by 0.46 pc, respectively.
In 30 scrips, 24 declined while 6 advanced.
The losers were ICICI Bank by 2.01 pc to Rs 515.30, Hind Unilever by 1.85 pc to Rs 2326.65, ITC by 1.76 pc to Rs 212.10, ONGC by 1.67 pc to Rs 99.85 and Axis Bank by 1.66 pc to Rs 1228.55.
The gainers were HCL Technologies by 0.76 pc to Rs 880.15, Bajaj finance by 0.51 pc to Rs 4923, Titan by 0.47 pc to Rs 1470.30, Bajaj Finserv by 0.15 pc to Rs 8944.45 and Tech Mahindra by 0.13 pc to Rs 409.70.
