Haryana Cooperation Minister asks officers to increase the work pace all development works

Chandigarh, Oct 12 (UNI) Haryana Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal has directed the officers to speed up work on development projects which were stalled due to COVID-19.

Dr. Banwari Lal was presiding over a review meeting of development works of various departments in Rewari on Monday.

The Minister directed that the number of tokens for the procurement of millet in grain mandis of Kosli, Bawal and Rewari should be increased. Besides this, he directed the officers to start the procurement at the new procurement centre in Bolni as soon as possible.

The Minister further directed the officers of the Marketing Board to immediately start repairing damaged roads. He said that the roads of the Market Committee in Bawal, Raipur should be repaired immediately. Similarly, damaged roads of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) should also be got re-constructed as soon as possible.

The Minister directed the Public Works Department that work on the roads from Pawti to Rajasthan Border, Kundal to Badhrana, Pawti to Nangal Siha, Jarthal to Asiyaka, Gothara Tappa Khori to Nangla Mayan, Jeetpura to Istmurar and Khatawali, Alawalpur to Rajasthan Border (Seethal), Bhuddhal Jat to Rajwas, Lisan to Kotia should be started soon.

He directed the Superintending Engineer to get the road construction work from Jarthtal to Raliawas in the Bawal Assembly Constituency within a time period of 20 days.

The Minister also directed the HSIIDC officers to meet the Superintendent of Police and get CCTV cameras installed at the main points in the area coming under HSIIDC.
