Faridabad : Union Minister launches website, mobile app to facilitate COVID Patients

Faridabad, 16 May – The Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar today launched a website www.covidfaridabad.com and a mobile app of District Administration Faridabad to facilitate COVID patients during Pandemic. The website will enable the patients to get information of various medical and other facilities like testing, oxygen cylinders, availability of beds, Plasma and Ambulance Services on a one platform. The website is an initiative of District Faridabad in collaboration with an NGO ‘Pehchan’.Describing COVID-19 as the biggest disaster, the Union Minister said that the State Government and District Administration are continuously working round the clock to provide immediate relief to the people during the pandemic. He said that the website would enable the people of Faridabad to get every information related to COVID-19. During the pandemic, the patients had to face problems for the arrangement of facilities like testing, oxygen cylinders, consultation with doctors, availability of beds, plasma and medicines. Now, with the launch of this website, all such information will be provided on a one platform. Sh. Gurjar also appreciated the efforts made by NGO ‘Pehchan’ to develop such a website and mobile app, and said that it would benefit the people of Faridabad. Anila Bansal, the official of NGO was also present on this occasion. Speaking on this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Yashpal apprised that the website is integrated with various Government initiatives and help the people to get information regarding helpline for various facilities, contact tracing, Vaccination Centres, COVID-19 test report, Plasma, Oxygen, Ambulance Service, availability of Beds, Home Consultation and Tiffin Services, etc. 

Keeping in view of Pandemic, the need of an integrated information platform like such a website and mobile app was being felt and today, the facility has been made available to the people of Faridabad. He also invited the suggestions to further improve the website, and assured that whatever changes would be required, will be made accordingly, he added.The Deputy Commissioner said that the situation of COVID-19 in the district Faridabad is under control, however, people would have to follow COVID appropriate behavior to break the chain of its further transition. Haryana Cabinet Minister Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, MLAs Sh. Narendra Gupta, Smt. Seema Trikha, Sh. Neeraj Sharma, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister Sh. Ajay Gaur, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sh. Satbir Mann, SDM Faridabad Sh. Paramjit Chahal, CTM Sh. Pulkit Malhotra were also present on this occasion.EOM
