Maharashtra’s Marathwada region records 4,343 fresh new COIVD cases in past 24 hours

Eight districts of Marathwada region of Maharashtra state biggest spike out of 4,343 fresh cases of corona positive during the past 24 hours, and 40 more deaths, health authorities informed, here on Tuesday.
Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI shows that out of the eight districts of the region, Aurangabad district in the region was one of the worst affected district where highest 1406 cases and 20 deaths were reported , followed by Nanded with 1291 new cases and 10 deaths,Jalna registered 562 new cases and 3 deaths,Parbhani District 315 cases and three deaths ,Latur had 246 cases and 2 deaths
,Beed had 239 cases and 2 deaths, Osmanabad 173 cases and Hingoli had 91cases.
Meanwhile ,during the past 24 hours total 24,645 fresh cases of corona positive spotted across in the state, bringing the total number of infections in the state to 25,43,327.
While 58 more deaths were also reported taking the death toll to 53,457.
Meanwhile, a total of 19,463 patients recovered and were discharged taking the total number of recoveries to 22,34,330 across the state.
With this the recovery rates sharply goes down and stand to 89.32 per cent and fatality rate is 2.15per cent.
At present 2,15,241active patients across the state were undergoing treatment at different Covid centres and hospitals, they added.
