Metro services resume on Airport Express Line, all lines of Delhi Metro network now open

New Delhi, Sep 12 (UNI) With the resumption of Metro services on the Airport Express Line on Saturday, the entire Metro network has been made operational for passenger services from 0600 hrs to 2300 hrs from Saturday onwards.

‘With the resumption of service on the Airport Express Line, all lines of the Delhi Metro network are now open! Remember to follow the guidelines when travelling. MetroBackOnTrack,’ the DMRC said in a tweet.

The normal timing of Delhi Metro services throughout the day from 0600 hrs to 2300 hrs has become applicable from Saturday onwards on all the Lines, when the last Line of Delhi Metro network, the

Airport Express Line from New Delhi to Dwarka Sec-21 (22.7 KM/6 stations), was made operational on Saturday under Stage-III, the last stage under graded resumption plan of Metro services.

Now, the entire Metro network has been made operational for passenger services from 0600 hrs to 2300 hrs from today onwards, as it was before March 22, with all social distancing norms/guidelines to be followed by the passengers during the travel, due to the ongoing COVID pandemic.

The Metro services in the Delhi-NCR were suspended from March 22, following the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country.
