A four day workshop on “Handling and usage of ultrasound machine and interpretation of ultrasonography findings in Veterinary patients” concludes at Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, R.S. Pura, SKUST-Jammu. The workshop was organized by Division of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology w.e.f. 3rd to 6th March, 2025 for the officers of 16 corp HQ, Nagrota, Jammu. It was conducted under the able leadership of Prof. B.N. Tripathi, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu and guidance of Dr. Rajesh Katoch, Dean, F.V.Sc & A.H. RS Pura
During this workshop ultrasonography of normal and diseased organ systems was discussed along with hands-on practical demonstrations in clinical patients. The valedictory function was attended by Dr. Rajesh Katoch, Dean and Chairman of the workshop, Dr. H. R. Bhardwaj, Professor and Head and convener, Col. Vivek Sexena from 16 crop, scientists of division of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology. Dr Rajesh Katoch, the Chief Guest of the valedictory function highlighted the importance of sonography at field level and advised the participants to practice the acquired knowledge at their respective place of posting. The Valedictory function ended with a vote of thanks by Dr Pankaj Gupta.
