Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Thursday recorded the statement of Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Vaze, whose name came up in the Mansukh Hiren death case.
He was being asked several questions related to the incidents prior to the death of Hiren, sources said.
Meanwhile, Vaze on Wednesday was transferred from the crime branch to a Local Armary unit of the city police, after the opposition party in Maharashtra sought suspension and registration of FIR against him in the case.
