Jammu, Jul 22 :Bhartiya Janata Party National General Secretary (Organisation) B L Santhosh on Thursday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government’s key priority is focus on development and under the BJP regime, Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed unprecedented development.
“After removing all the bottlenecks in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister-led BJP Government’s key priority now is to focus on development,” said Mr Santosh during his visit to Jammu.
Later, he also addressed a meeting of BJP Katra Mandal.
Addressing the meeting, the senior BJP leader said that the development which took place in J&K under the Government led by PM Modi is matchless and speaks itself about the remarkable progress which this region has made after the BJP took over the reins.
“Keeping in line with PM Modi’s mission of ‘Sab Ka Saath Sabka Vikas’ that stands now transformed into ‘Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas Sab Ka Vishwas’, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been witnessing unprecedented development in every sector since Mr Modi took over the reins of this nation,” he expressed.
He said that the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir which was one of the best and most developed at the time of Independence became the most backward state in the country.
“After Mr Modi government came to power in the Centre, we had been successful in getting major projects for Jammu and Kashmir from the Centre,” he added.
Mr Santhosh has also taken stock of the programmes pertaining to public outreach launched by BJP throughout the country, especially in the testing times of Covid-19 second wave.
Stressing upon the need for making the common masses aware of all achievements of BJP Governments, both in the Centre and J&K UT, Mr Santhosh said that various landmark initiatives have been taken by the BJP Governments for the welfare of people in general and downtrodden in particular.
“Numerous works for progress, development, upliftment and for welfare of the neglected sections, who were made scapegoat for seven decades, has been done by BJP,” he said, adding that people will not be led away by the opposition narratives as they have full confidence in the 70-year-old PM who is leading 130 crore people of the world’s largest democracy.
The BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) stressed upon the party cadre to remain in public and always be available to them for addressing their issues by taking all possible measures in this direction.
He asserted that people should not shirk to approach BJP leadership for mitigating their problems as the party is always ready to serve people for ameliorating their hardships.
J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina asked people to have faith in the Modi government which is continuously working on its resolve for the overall development of Jammu and Kashmir.
