Jammu, Feb 21: Protesting against the attitude of cops and ill-behavior of a local corporator, some media persons hold a demonstration outside police station Gandhi Nagar in Jammu City.
It all started, when a leading web-portal of the region, Jammu Samvad was doing a story on a case related to crime against women at Nanak Nagar.
According to the scribes sitting of dharna, the accused snatched the phone of the a reporter and meanwhile, when they reported the matter to the concerned police station Gandhi Nagar, the local corporator Pappu Choudhary reached the police station and misbehaved with the media persons inside police station.
At the same time, the cops on duty told complaining media persons to move out of the police station. The media persons sat on the demonstration outside the Model Police Station and later followed in the protest by many other media persons from digital and print media platforms.
Meanwhile, SSP Jammu, Shridhar Patil also reached the Police Station and tried to solve the issue.
