MP Govt to issue cinematography guideline

Bhopal, Oct 25 : Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said on Monday that the state government will issue a permanent guideline regarding cinematography in the wake of the dispute regarding the web series Aashram-3.

“Henceforth, the script will have to be submitted to the district administration and approval obtained prior to filming so as to guard against any scene that would hurt sentiments of members of any faith. If people come to this state for film-making, they are welcome. For a long time, an attempt is being made to target Hinduism through web series. In view of the feelings of the majority community, director Prakash Jha should consider renaming the series,” Dr Mishra told the press here.

Four arrests were made in connection with a protest here late Sunday against Aashram-3.

“The Dabur company’s lesbian advertisement is objectionable. Owing to the matter’s seriousness, I have ordered the Director General of Police to take action,” the Minister added.
