MVA just rechristening BJP-era schemes: Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai, Dec 15 (UNI) Maharashtra Assembly Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday accused the Maha Vikas Aghadi of running the previous BJP government era schemes by simply tweaking their names. He was speaking on the last day of the two-day winter session of the state legislature.

Former CM Fadnavis asserted, “The present government has changed the names of the several schemes and are running them with new names while showing big achievement to the public.”

While talking about the new farm bills, he told, “The same Congress had promised to introduce similar changes (in the laws) when it was in power.”

“The Congress and other opposition parties are opposing it just for their politics and nothing else. In fact, not implementing these laws will be anti-farmer,” he underscored.
