PM approves ex-gratia for victims of Moradabad road accident

New Delhi, Jan 31 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives in a road accident in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Furthermore, an amount of Rs 50,000 has been approved for everyone who is seriously injured in the accident.

in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Rs 50,000 would be given to those seriously injured,’ the Prime Minister’s Office said in a tweet on Sunday.

At least ten people lost their lives in a collision between a mini-bus and a truck in Moradabad on early Saturday morning.

The accident occurred due to dense fog on the busy Moradabad -Agra highway under Kundarki police station area. Around 11 people were injured in the accident and have been admitted to the hospital.
