Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) The BSE Sensex remained negative for the fifth straight session on Monday, as it dropped 1145.44 points to settle at 49,744.32 on weak global cues.
The Nifty too fell 306.05 points to 14,675.70.
The Sensex registered day’s high and low at 50,986.03 and 49,617.37 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded day’s high and low at 15,010.10 and 14,635.05 points.
