Somaiya Vidyavihar announces 2nd edition of Darwin

Mumbai, Nov 3 (UNI) Darwin, an International Conference and India’s Biggest Evolutionary Movement in Biology is back with its second edition. An initiative of Somaiya Vidyavihar, the international conference is organized by Bioriidl, an extension of Research Innovation Incubation Design Laboratory (riidl), a not for profit organization under Somaiya Trust.

The virtual conference will be held from 2nd December 2020 to 5th December 2020. All the biology enthusiasts can register to be a part of the revolutionary conference at thedarwin.in. The last date for registration is 15th November 2020.

The conference will encompass Research Symposium, a platform for researchers to exhibit their research papers; Virtual Workshops, to provide Do-It-Yourself biology experiences and an insight into various advances and technologies in the biotechnology field; Panel Discussions; Talk Sessions and Virtual Tours to various institutes and labs to make the attendees understand the global innovation culture.

Renowned genetics expert, Prof. George Church, Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School, a founding member of the Wyss Institute and the director of PersonalGenomes.org, will be giving the keynote speech at the conference. Other speakers include industry experts like Dr. Jason Kelly, Co-Founder & CEO, Ginkgo Bioworks, Dr. Jaden J. A.
