Bahraich, Nov 30 (UNI) Two people were killed while four others sustained critical injuries at the Bahraich-Lakhimpur road here, police said on Monday. The injured have been admitted to the Medical College in Bahraich for treatment.
Police here said that an Alto, en route to Nanpara from Bahraich, had a head-on collision with a Bolero in an attempt to overtake a tractor-trolley near the Prahalda village in the Matera area, late Sunday night.
Hina Sheikh and Rahim, who were in the Alto, were killed on the spot in the accident while 4 others sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to the hospital. Three among the injured are critical.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
