Yogi reviews development works in PM’s constituency

Varanasi, Dec 21 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his one-day visit to the city here on Monday evening, inspected the construction work of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, a ‘dream project’ of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after offering prayer at Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
He asked the concerned officers about the detailed information about the progress of the work and directed to complete the work in every case during the period, by campaigning on a war level.
Later, the CM distributed blankets to the poor people living at a shelter home built in the Townhall near Madagin and sought information from them about the arrangements.
Directing the officials present there, he said that no one could sleep in the open sky keeping in view the cold wave. Such people should be immediately shifted to night shelters.
Yogi also did a surprise inspection of the under-construction underground parking site at Townhall under the Smart City Scheme with the cost of Rs 2331.00 lakh. He was informed that about 40 percent work has been completed. The CM directed the concerned officers to complete the work by September next year. Yogi landed at the Police Lines helipad after addressing a meeting at Mau and from there he directly reached Circuit House where he reviewed the development work at a meeting with the officers.
