Pak’s another terror plan fails in Jammu: BSF detects cross-border tunnel in Kathua

Jammu, Jan 13:Foiling another terror plan of Pakistan to push terrorists inside Indian territory, alert Border Security Force (BSF) troops on Wednesday detected another tunnel in Hiranagar sector of International Border in Kathua district of Jammu. The tunnel constructed from across the border to facilitate infiltration of arms and terrorists was detected by patrolling party of BSF troops near Bobiyaan forward post opposite a forward village. Official sources informed that there were inputs that on the occasion of Republic Day on January 26 Pakistan and the terror outfits are planning some terror incidents in Jammu and for that some fresh infiltration of armed terrorist are being planned from IB. “Security agencies are working to the foil the same and BSF have already launched an operation to foil such tunnels, ” Said sources and added, following this in an operations at Kathua, BSF detected the tunnel and recovered cement bags of a factory having stamp of Karachi in Pakistan.It is worth mentioning that a tunnel was detected at Samba in November 2020 after four militants were neutralized by security forces at Ban Toll plaza in Nagrota area of Jammu. Senior BSF and police officers have rushed to the spot.
