An under-trial prisoner was found hanging inside the jail premises in District Kathua of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning.
Police here said that the under-trial in NDPS case identified as Rajinder Singh,43, son of Nachatar Singh, resident of Fazilka, Punjab was found hanging in the washroom with bed sheet on the jail premises early this morning.
“It seems to be a suicide initially but we have started investigations under inquest proceedings,” police said.
