New Delhi, Feb 11 (UNI) The government has approved nine manufacturers under the production linked incentive (PLI) scheme to make medical devices. With a total outlay of Rs.3,420 crore for the period 2020-21 to 2027-28, the scheme floated by the Department of Pharmaceuticals will boost domestic manufacturing and attract large investment in the medical devices sector, The firms whose proposals have been approved are Siemens Healthcare, Allengers Medical Systems, Allengers OEM Ltd, Wipro GE Healthcare, Nipro India, Sahajanand Medical Technologies, Innvolution and Integris Healthcare.
