The foundation building to lay the groundwork for the grand building of the Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya will be examined by the scientists of Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) Roorkee along with L&T Company. Scientists have also started survey for this.
The scientists of the institute are also studying the behavior of the soil of the foundation of Sri Ram temple during all the disasters including earthquakes, so that the foundation can be designed to withstand all kinds of disasters while designing.
CBRI holds an important position in the field of building construction technology not only in the country but also abroad. Therefore, L&T Company, which is constructing the temple, recently sought cooperation from CBRI Roorkee.
The team of scientists, under the leadership of Dr. Shantanu Sarkar, head of the Institute’s Geo Technical Division, under the direction of Dr. N. Gopalakrishnan, Director of the institute, has started the survey work for designing the foundation of Shri Ram Temple.
