BUENOS AIRES, Feb 24 (Sputnik) – The number of people in Chile who have received a COVID-19 vaccine has exceeded 3 million, the country’s health ministry said.
“Three weeks since the beginning of the mass vaccination in Chile, the number of vaccinated people has exceeded 3 million,” the ministry said on Twitter.
A total of 3,037,063 people received the shot of the vaccine.
Chile has received two vaccines against the coronavirus: those of Sinovac Biotech and Pfizer. The vaccination campaign started on February 3.
