Tokyo, Jul 31 (UNI/Xinhua) Fatima Galvez and Alberto Fernandez won Spain’s first shooting gold in trap mixed team competition here on Saturday.
The Spaniards bested San Marino’s Alessandra Perilli, bronze medalist from the women’s individual event, and Gian Marco Berti, 41-40 in the final for their first Olympic gold.
In the bronze medal match, the United States had to go through three shootoff points before edging Slovakia to take the medal.
