August 7, 2025, DIG JKS Range, Shri Shiv Kumar (IPS), carried out a detailed security inspection ahead of the upcoming Independence Day celebrations. He reviewed the ongoing full-dress rehearsals and convened an on-ground briefing with all participating officers and contingents. The meeting involved coordination with school participants, NCC cadets, CAPF units, and Jammu and Kashmir Police contingents, all operating under the leadership of Nodal Officer Raj Singh Gouria (JKPS), Commandant IRP 18th Battalion. Senior officers including SP Vishal Manhas, SP Usman, DySP Tilak Raj, DySP Basanti Bhat, along with Probationary DySPs and PSIs, were actively present to ensure flawless execution and security arrangements.
