Karnataka: Govt taking steps to encourage and train entrepreneur’s

Dharwad, The Karnataka Government is taking several measures to encourage Enterpreneurship in the state in line with the various programmes of the Central Government and the promising and young Enterprenuers are being identified and trained in a systematic manner apart from facilitating incentives, according to Dr. Ashwatha Narayana, Minister for Skill development, Enterpreneurship and livelihood.
Inaugurating a World Entrepreneurs Day event organized by the Center of Enterprenuer Development of Karnataka (CEDOK) here today, Dr. Ashwatha Narayana said that the producers in both the formal and informal sectors should maintain quality in their products and services to achieve success in the Global Market.
Stating that the Enterprenuers should make use of the present day Technology to promote their products in the world market, the Minister said that several companies are now engaged in E-Market business and many more companies have planned to enter the Indian E-market segment. The Enterprenuers should take this as an opportunity to promote their products at the Global level, he said.
Dr. Ashwatha Narayan, however added that unfortunately that the facts are concerned that at present, the success rate of Entereneurship in India is around only Five percent and the remaining 95 percent suffer failure due to lack of planning, Training and poor knowledge about market conditions.
He said that the National Education policy of 2020 introduced by the Modi Government intends to groom entrepreneurial skills during the learning stages itself. And the government is taking also the steps to train entrepreneurs in a Systematic way to increase their chances of success in the competitive Global Market, he added.
