Mumbai, July 1 : The Rupee on Friday slipped eight paise to close at 79.04 against the USD on rising demand for US Dollar from bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit that declined 12 paise at 79.08 in opening trade, finished at 79.04, sliding eight paise, as compared to its previous close.
