Shimla, May 20 (UNI) A case of Mucormycosis or black fungus has been detected in a COVID-19 positive patient in Himachal, an official said on Thursday.
The patient, a woman, had tested positive on May 4 and was refered to Shri Lal Bhadhur Shastri Medical College Nerchowk from Hamirpur after complaints of chest congestion and breathing problem. The patient
also has a history of hypertension and diabetes,Indira Gandhi Medical College Medical Superintendent Dr Janak Raj said.
The condition of the patient is said to be stable and under medical supervision in the hospital.
