Jammu, May 20 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday informed that 4169 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (1518 from Jammu division and 2651from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases to 260057 in the Union Territory.
Also 67 deaths have been reported, 41 from Jammu Division and 26 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 4042 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 1533 from Jammu Division and 2509 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 260057 positive cases, 50554 are Active Positive, 206081 have recovered and 3422have died; 1612in Jammu division and 1810 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 8092877test results available, 7832820 samples have been tested as negative till May 20.
Till date 1999215 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 74131 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 50554 in isolation and 130671in home surveillance.
Besides, 1740437 persons have completed their surveillance period.
