Nashik, Sep 4 (UNI) The highly concerned situation for the Nashik district administration continues to exile as the prevalance of COVID-19 is not diminishing. On Friday, the district recorded 1112 newly infected cases, 11 deaths and 1026 recoveries. The tally of active case have risen by 75.
According to the latest report of district administration, today the swab sample report of 3006 suspected cases were received amongst which 1894 samples tested negative while 1112 samples report tested positive. Today 11 casualties were recorded in the district while 1026 cases were recovered and discharged today.
The Nashik city tally of active cases have reached the mark of 4550. Today the city recorded 933 new infected cases, 5 deaths and 721 recoveries. Till date, the Nashik city recorded 28561 infected cases including 514 casualties and 23497 recoveries.
The rural parts of the district have some sight of relief as the figure of active cases have declined by 88. The tally of total infected cases have surpassed the mark of 10000 as today 169 new cases were detected raising the tally of infected cases to 100074. The tally of total deaths after witnessing 6 deaths have reached the mark of 260. Today the rural part recorded the biggest recovery rate till date as today significant 251 cases were found recovered in a single day raising the tally of recoveries to 7415. Now there are 2399 active cases in rural parts of the district.
The Malegaon city tally of active cases have declined by 47 cases. Today, the city recorded 3 new infections rising the tally of infected cases to 2688. Today significant 50 cases were recovered in the city, raising the tally of recovery to 2053. Now there are 522 active cases in the city.
Meanwhile , till date a total 140776 swab samples were sent across the district for testing amongst which a report of 96178 swab samples tested negative while 41565 tested positive.
Till date 911 cases have died in the district while 33162 cases have been recovered and discharged. Now there are 7492 active cases in the district.
