Hamirpur (HP), Jul 9 : If COVID can change forms, so can the mankind change strategies.
In this direction, the Himachal Pradesh government has formulated a new vaccination strategy according to which maximum people will be vaccinated in the state till July 14.
An official spokesman of the state government said Friday that only the beneficiaries of category- A i.e. all 45+ years beneficiaries for 1st dose, all 45+ years beneficiaries eligible for 2nd dose of Covishield, all HCWs as designated by the Government of India (for both dose 1 and dose 2), all FLWs designated and notified by GoI (for both dose 1 and dose 2) and all priority groups notified by the Government of Himachal Pradesh (for both dose 1 and dose 2) will continue to be vaccinated till July 14.
There shall be no session for category B till July 14 . Category –B includes people between 18-44 years of age.
He further appealed that the beneficiaries of category A should come forward to get their vaccination doses so that they do not contract the virus.
