Bhubaneswar, Dec 10 (UNI) Odisha reported 343 new covid cases and five deaths in the past 24 hours taking the tally in the state to 3,22,642 with 1794 fatalities.
Health and Family Welfare department sources said one death each reported from five districts in the past 24 hours.
At the same time, 343 new cases were registered from 25 districts of which 197 were reported from the quarantine centres and rest 147 are local cases.
Sundargarh district reported the highest number of 41 new cases in the past 24 hours followed by 32 each in Khordha and Angul district.
Out of 25 districts reported new covid cases, as many as eleven districts have registered a single-digit covid case.
Official sources said so far 62,81,162 tests were conducted in the state of which 3,22,642 ( 5.14 per cent) were found infected with the coronavirus.
While 3,17,412 covid patients were cured and discharged from the hospital till date,3383 active cases are under treatment in the state.
