Hamirpur (HP), May 19 (UNI) Amandeep, a young up-pradhan of the Mansai gram panchayat of Andean block of the district has designed a daily reporting system to monitor the infected persons, making it easier to take care of home isolates and other infected persons in the panchayat area.
After increasing the data of corona infection in the panchayat, Amandeep created a computer-based database to monitor such people. In this programme, the name, age, village and health information of the infected person are being updated from the date of sample testing.
The daily health status of people living in home segregation, DCCC, referral to DCH and those who beat Corona are available in the database.
Similarly, the names of Asha Workers with their phone numbers and phone number have also been added to it and details of how many infected persons they contacted daily were also being given and monitored on a daily basis.
Amandeep says that by contacting the ASHA workers concerned by 11.00 am daily, they get the health information of all the infected persons. After this, after sharing it in the computer database, they share it with the local administration till about two and a half in the afternoon.
At the same time, he has also formed a virtual group at the village level. This information is also put in this group, so that the people of the panchayat can also be kept updated.
Apart from this, they themselves talk to people and take information about their daily needs etc. Where needed, essential goods were also send to them through a team of the local youths.
He said that so far 28 people have been infected in the panchayat, out of which 19 are in home isolation and two in Covid centers and seven have beaten the corona.
He has also mentioned all the precautions and instructions in 10 points at the end of his report to make people aware of Covid-19 standard operating procedures. This effort of his not only keeps the people of Panchayat aware and alert, but the local administration was also getting a lot of help from it.
