NEW DELHI, – Delhi Congress chief Shri Devender Yadav announced that a special DPCC committee has been formed to review pressing issues affecting residents of the Capital. The committee will soon present a report addressing challenges such as the demolition of JJ clusters and eviction of street vendors, with a clear action plan set to follow next month.
Yadav emphasized that Congress workers are ready to take to the streets to stand up for those displaced and silenced. He accused the BJP-led government of neglecting people’s concerns and affirmed that the Congress will raise these voices and work toward solutions.
During a key meeting at Rajiv Bhawan with Lok Sabha and District observers, Yadav outlined Delhi Congress’s upcoming strategy. The session included AICC Delhi in-charge Qazi Nizamuddin, former Minister Dr. Narendra Nath, former MLAs Shri Anil Bhardwaj and Shri Hari Shankar Gupta, and Admin Incharge Shri Jatin Sharma.
Highlighting organizational development, Yadav shared that under the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan, following Shri Rahul Gandhi’s vision, Delhi Congress successfully conducted training camps across all 14 districts for Block Committee heads and office-bearers. A total of 258 Block Committees have completed their structure at the Mandalam and Sector levels, strengthening grassroots capacity.
Yadav added that the next phase will include block-level training to educate workers about the Congress party’s values, history, and election strategies—preparing them to face political challenges confidently at every level.
