
NEW DELHI, – On the occasion of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Shri Devender Yadav honored outstanding students from 19 Government schools at Mata Sukhdevi Public School, Pangli Poona. The event, held under the Pradhan Mahender Yadav Scholarship Scheme “Sapne Aapke, Prayas Hamara”, aimed to support students aspiring to pursue medical and engineering courses.
Through the Nation First Foundation, founded by Shri Yadav, students were rewarded with bikes, laptops, mobile phones, smartwatches, cycles, bags, trophies, certificates, and cash awards to encourage their academic pursuits. Shri Devender Yadav emphasized that with proper guidance and timely support, students from Government schools can shine just as brightly as those in private institutions.
The ceremony witnessed Delhi Congress In-charge Qazi Nizamuddin as the chief guest. Top performers were felicitated with special awards, including a bike and a scootie, while 62 students received bikes, 63 mobile phones, 222 smartwatches, 492 bags, trophies, and certificates along with cash awards to aid their higher education dreams.
Shri Yadav highlighted the importance of nurturing talent and stated, “Every parent dreams of a bright future for their child. Through the Nation First Foundation, we aim to empower students of Badli to achieve their goals and excel in education.” He also recognized exemplary students like Sania Khatoon and Tanishq Gupta, who have set inspiring examples of dedication and hard work.
