NEW DELHI, July 8, 2025–Under the leadership of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav, the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan, as part of the exercise to strengthen the Congress at the grassroots level, training camps were organized by the Patparganj, Najafgarh and Chandni Chowk District Congress Committees today in which District presidents, Lok Sabha and District observers, Block presidents and District office-bearers participated. Before the start of the Training Camp, flag hoisting and lighting of lambs ceremonies were held in all the districts.
The training camp was held in three sessions in all the three districts. The camps imparted classes on the vision of the Congress, the cherished history of the Congress, its role in the freedom movement and the building of the nation after Independence, the responsibilities of the booth, mandalam, block presidents and district office bearers for creating awareness campaigns, and the responsible and constructive roles that should be played by the party workers during election time to bring in success and results. The district office bearers were exhorted to put in hard work to strengthen the party to face all challenges ahead very forcefully.
Prominent among those who participated in the Training Camps were AICC Secretary Incharge Shri Sukhwinder Singh Danny, Ex Ministers Shri Haroon Yusuf and Dr. Narender Nath District Presidents Shri Dinesh Kumar Advocate, Shri Satbir Sharma, Mirza Javed Ali, Communication Department Chairman Shri Anil Bhardwaj, Ex MLAs Asif Mohd. Khan and Shri Kunwar Karan Singh, Former Mayor Farhad Suri, Lok Sabha Observer Kamal Kant Sharma, Rohit Chaudhary, C.P. Mittal, Jagjivan Sharma, Tasvir Solanki, District Observer Capt. Khavinder Singh, Amandeep Singh Sudan, Kamal Arora, Abdul Hanan, Deepak Bhardwaj, Pramod Jayant, Shanti Swaroop, Sushma Yadav, Rajesh Yadav, P.K. Mishra, Tarun Tyagi and Devender Sehrawat, Jatin Sharma, Ex MC Darshna Jatav.
The training camps, being conducted by experts from the All India Congress Committee, instilled in the Congress workers the need to stand unitedly to meet the party’s struggle on various issues head on under the leadership of Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Shri Mallikarjun Kharge. The training camps also impart lessons to the workers to undertake awareness campaigns in their respective areas to enlighten people about the prevailing situation as the BJP is working to divide people on the basis of religion, caste and creed by sowing the seeds of hatred and alienation in their minds. The training camps emphasized the need for the Congress workers to remain united to repulse the divisive, destructive tactics of the BJP to spread unrest and animosity in the society.
The training camp also deliberated on countering the BJP’s dangerous tactics of occupying constitutional posts to implement its agenda detrimental to the unity and integrity of the country. The training camps in all the districts are being organised not only to enable the Congress workers to take the party’s policies and ideology on various issues to the people door-to-door but each block president will also help in creating awareness booths and strengthening the grassroots level of the workers by organising such camps in their respective areas.
