He said that under the dynamic initiative of Congress president Shri Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi, Congress workers are dutifully, diligently and honestly fulfilling their responsibilities in the district training camps to strengthen the party at the grass root level in the country and across Delhi. Shri Devender Yadav said that the Congress workers who participated in the training camps have received a new direction and orientation as they gained a fresh perspective in their political work. The training camps were conducted by trainers deputed by the All India Congress Committee and those who have been trained in the camps will impart their knowledge to workers down the pecking order in the party, regarding how to work under the mandals and sectors. Shri Yadav said that BJP’s agenda of dividing the people, spreading hatred, destroying democracy and changing the Constitution will be forcefully thwarted by the Congress workers as they have been given training for such activities in the camps for the larger good of the people and the society.
Qazi Nizamuddin said that the slum dwellers and street vendors, who are being uprooted from Delhi by the BJP government, will have to fight for their rights by coming out on the streets. “The Congress has a history and tradition of protecting and safeguarding the interest and welfare of the poor and we have always made laws to save the JJ clusters and the livelihood of the street vendors. But the dictatorial BJP has been mercilessly demolishing the JJ Clusters to drive out the poor from Delhi, who play a very vital role for the upkeep and development of the Capital, in violation of the order of the Supreme Court, which proves that the Rekha Gupta Government has no concern for the plight of the poor, after making hollow promises to them during election time.
