BSF hands over two minors to Bangladesh in a goodwill gesture

New Delhi, Mar 11 (UNI) In a goodwill gesture, the Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday handed over two minors to Bangladesh on Thursday who came to Indian territories after crossing International Border on March 10.

According to BSF, around 1350 hrs on Wednesday, the Petrol team of BOP Rangiapota under Krishna Nagar, sector headquarter in West Bengal apprehended two Bangladeshi nationals Milan Ali, 12 yrs and Sudeep Hussian, 12 yrs, both resident of Munshipur district in Bangladesh along with wheat bran sack weighing around 55 kgs.

They had entered Indian Territory with the intent of earning money, the officials in the Force said.

The Border Guard Bangladesh(BGB) along with their parents approached BSF and requested them to hand over the children.

As the apprehended persons were minor, considering the humanitarian ground and as a goodwill gesture, both apprehended minors handed over to their parents in presence of BGB and Member and Pradhan of village Rangiapota during flag meeting.
