Shimla, Apr 25(UNI) Twenty-four people died while as many as 2,073 people tested positive in Himachal Pradesh in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said here on Sunday.
Among those who lost their lives, sixteen were males while eight females. Kangra district topped the list with eight deaths followed by Hamirpur five, Mandi three, two each in the districts of Shimla, Solan and Chamba and one each in the districts of Una and Sirmaur.
He said that 2,073 new cases were detected during the last twenty-four hours and the number of active cases has risen to 13,411.
