Weather remains dry in Himachal during last 24 hours’

Hamirpur(HP), June 30 Weather was dry over the state of Himachal Pradesh during the last 24 hours with no appreciable changes in Minimum & Maximum temperatures during last 24 hrs.
However Minimum & Maximum temperatures were normal.
Today the Lowest temperature was recorded at Keylong= 09.9 0C and Yesterday’s Highest temperature was recorded at Una= 39.4 0C.
The sky is overcast with light to dark clouds and the sun and clouds are playing hide and seek games since morning.
A spokesman of the Department of Meteorological said that the thunderstorm & lightning likely at isolated places in lower and mid-hill areas of the state from July 3rd to July 5th.
Similarly, Heavy rainfall, thunderstorm & lightning likely in hill hill areas of the state from July 2nd to July 5th at isolated places.
Meanwhile, farmers of the state especially those of the lower hill and mid-hill areas are upset with the nonarrival of the rains as a result they are facing problems for the sowing of their Kharif crops especially of Maize and paddy.
They want from the Rain God to come in time so that there was no loss to their crops.
At many places, farmers were seen criticizing the weather experts that had told that the Monsoon in the state would arrive by June 15th. They say that the weather experts should make right predictions and refrain from befooling the people that monsoon has arrived/was arriving in a few days’ time.
