Mangaluru, Karnataka BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel on Wednesday advocated Uttar Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s model to deal with heinous crimes including beheading.
“There is a need for taking a tough stand against such incidents (Udaipur beheading), like UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath does,” he told reporters here.
A tailor named Kanhaiya Lal was beheaded by two men in Udaipur for his social media post supporting suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma on her remarks on Prophet Muhammad.
Kateel alleged that these incidents are being stage-managed in the name of jihad to create instability in the country.
“The Modi government has zero tolerance against those who are trying to create disturbance in the country,” he said.
Calling Udaipur beheading as a systematic conspiracy, Kateel blamed the Congress government in Rajasthan for the incident saying that this took place due to appeasement politics. “Riots have increased in Rajasthan due to the appeasement policy adopted by the Rajasthan government ruled by Congress,” he said.
Kateel also criticised Congress for its silence and demanded the party leaders to make clear their stand.
