Puducherry, Apr 1 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived here on Thursday to campaign for the BJP candidates for the April 6 assembly election in the Union Territory.
Mr Shah, who reached the Puducherry Airport, later worshipped at the Sithananda temple and participated in roadshows to canvass for the BJP candidates contesting from Lawspet, Kapalet and Kamaraj Nagar constituencies.
He will leave for Thirukovilur in Tamil Nadu this afternoon.
