APSCC demands action from Punjab govt who beat Kashmiri students

Srinagar, Oct 25 : All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) Kashmir Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina on Monday condemned the attack on Kashmiri students in Punjab and demanded the government to take stern action against the culprits.

In a statement Raina urged Punjab government to take stern action against the people who are responsible for the attack on Kashmiri students at the end of the Indo-Pak cricket match played at Dubai on Sunday.

He said that it is quite unfortunate that Kashmiri students studying in Bhai Guru Das Institute in Punjab were attacked by students belonging to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

He said the students should have taken the defeat of the Indian cricket team against Pakistan in the right spirit and not to carry out attacks on Kashmiri students.

The APSCC Chairman said that action against the frantic elements would ensure that such incidents are not repeated in future.
