Gangtok, Two personnel of the Indian Army were killed in an accident at Zuluk, here on Friday.
The jawans were travelling to Nathu La border, when their car met with an accident. They were identified as Lance Naik Manoj Chettri and Subedar Som Bahadur Subba, resident of Mirik. Both were serving in the Sikkim Scouts at Kupup.
Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang offered condolences to the Sikkim Scouts personnel, who lost their lives on duty.
“I offer my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace,” he said.
