Arunachal’s Covid-19 tally mounts to 10421

Itanagar, Oct 4 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 caseload rose to 10421 with detection of 201 new cases of infections, while 205 patients were discharged, taking the total recoveries to 7388.
Out of the fresh cases, Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) reported the highest at 80, followed by Changlang 16, West Siang and Tirap 14 each, Kamle11 and East Siang 10, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS).
Nine cases were reported from Lohit, eight each from Lower Subansiri and Namsai, five each from West Kameng and Longding, four each from Pakke Kessang and Leparada, three from Lower Dibang Valley (LDV), two each from Tawang and Lower Siang,one each from Upper Subansiri, East Kameng , Shi-Yomi, Anjaw, Papum Pare
and Kurung Kumey,
Barring 46, all the cases are asymptomatic. Of 80 cases from ICC, 26 reported from flu clinic, TRIHMS,Naharlagun, 17 from paid quarantine testing centre, 21 from RKM Hospital and four from testing centre CCC-SOA, Zoo area here, four from Banderdewa check gate, four from flu clinic,Niba Hospital,Naharlagun, three from testing centre SQF, Lekhi, and one from flu clinic, Heema Hospital here.
Six among the 16 cases from Changlang are healthcare workers while two are APP personnel, seven detected from Changlang township and one is reported from check gate, Kharsang.
All the case from West Siang are primary contacts of positive case detected earlier. According to the bulletin issued by the DHS last night, of discharged, highest were from ICC at 113, followed by West Siang 19 and East Siang 16.
Total active case in the state stood at 3015. Death toll at 18.
