Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala to open for Vishu special puja on Apr 10

Lord Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala will open for the Vishu special puja on Saturday evening.
“Vishukani” darshan will be held in the wee hours of April 14.
Devotees will be allowed to enter the temple from April 11 to April 18.
A total of 10,000 people with RT-PCR negative certificates will be allowed for darshan at the temple daily as part of Covid-19 protocol.
According to Devaswom Board officials, those who took the two doses of Covid vaccine can visit the temple.
Devotees are restricted from taking bath in Pamba river. Hence shower bath facility is arranged at the river bank.
Pilgrims would not be allowed to stay while “Annadanam” is provided at Sannidhanam.
They are restricted from visiting the priests including Tantri and Chief priest.
Meanwhile, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan will visit the temple on Sunday.
He will stay at the Devaswom guest house after paying obeisance to the Lord Ayyappa and leave for Thiruvananthapuram on Monday.
