BJP in charge of Sikkim Sukant Majumdar arrives on 3 day visit

Gangtok, Nov 22 (UNI) Newly appointed BJP in charge of Sikkim Sukant Majumdar has arrived in the state on a three day visit.
Majumdar,who is an MP from Balurghat of West Bengal, was welcomed at Rangpo by Sikkim State BJP President DB Chauhan and others.
Majumdar called on Chief Minister PS Tamang at his official residence Mintogang here today in the evening.
The two leaders discussed the alliance between the BJP and the ruling Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) party.
Earlier, Sukant Majumdar met the BJP’s executive members and discussed the strategy for advancing and strengthening the party in Sikkim.
Majumdar is scheduled to call on Governor Ganga Prasad on Monday evening at Raj Bhawan and meet the party functionaries in Singtam BJP State Head Quarter during the day.
