BJP responsible for unemployment in HP not corona: Hamirpur Dist Cong Committee

Hamirpur (HP), Jun 4 (UNI) The District Congress Committee has expressed its concern over the growing number of unemployment and held BJP’s anti-people policies responsible for that.

The number of unemployed people in the country has grown by one crore during last year, the DCC chief Rajendra Zar said in a statement.

He said that the lackluster policies of the BJP to deal with the COVID-18 effectively had led to such a pass and in all about (9 crore people had become unemployed since the inception of coronavirus in the country.

The situation was bad in Himachal Pradesh and more than two thousand posts of multi health workers were lying vacant but no action was taken to fill those, he informed.

The District President said that the State Government was completely unaware of the other problems of the people of the State; the people are suffering from shortage of drinking water.

He noted that the situation has reached such a pass that the Congress MLAs have to provide water to the people affected by the tankers with their own funds.
The Congress party leader said that the party would not allow the people to suffer and expose the BJP and its leaders that were doing nothing except minting money through contractor ships.
