Chief Minister hears public grievances during meeting of district public relations and grievance redressal committee in Faridabad

Faridabad, April 29: In a bid to provide relief to the parents from financial problems, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state government will implement a policy to prevent private schools from selling books to students arbitrarily. Under the new policy, the rates will be fixed along with the quality of the pages and paper of the books. Also, information will be given to the general public by making lists of books with prescribed rates at the state level, he added.

The Chief Minister was hearing grievances while presiding over the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee at HSVP Convention Centre in Faridabad on Saturday. A total of 14 complaints related to various departments were placed in the meeting, out of which 12 complaints were disposed of; providing relief to the complainants.

On a complaint regarding private schools charging higher rates of books from the parents, the Chief Minister while talking to Director, Secondary Education, Dr. Anshaj Singh over phone; directed to formulate a policy to prevent the financial loss of such parents. Along with this, orders were issued by the Chief Minister to charge fees according to the prescribed slab by the private schools.

Allotted plots disputes will be settled by HSVP

The Chief Minister directed the concerned officers to settle the disputes regarding the size of the plots allotted earlier under the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) with immediate effect. Talking to Chief Administrator, HSVP, over the phone, he directed that a policy should be formulated to re-allot the plots of the right size according to the demand of the plot holders; whose plots in HSVP are less than or more than 20 percent in size. All such plot holders of the state will get relief, he added.

Monitoring of those lodging more than 20 complaints on CM Window from same phone number

Taking cognizance of the complaints being made against various departments by one of the complainant Pawan Kumar, necessary guidelines were issued by the Chief Minister. He said that due to unnecessary complaints on the CM window, the officers find it difficult to work. In such a situation, those who lodge more than 20 complaints from the same phone number will now be monitored on the CM Window. The Chief Minister also ordered the construction of STP as per requirement in Faridabad’s Dabua Colony by earmarking a land.

On the occasion, Union Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries, Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar, Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, MLA Faridabad,  Sh. Narendra Gupta, MLA Nayan Pal Rawat, Media Advisor, Sh. Amit Arya, BJP district president, Sh. Gopal Sharma, among others were present.
