Delhi police appeals all to share information on R-day violence

New Delhi, Jan 29 (UNI) Delhi police on Friday appealed to all the people including media persons, who were witnesses to the incidents of January 26 violence and have captured any activity on their mobile phones, to come forward and share the information with them.

Sharing the mobile number 8750871237 and landline number 011-23490094, the Delhi police said that the identity of the witness will be kept secret.

On January 26, the tractor rally by agitating farmers to press the demand for repeal of the three new agriculture laws turned violent as the protesters did not drove on the permitted route, deviated and attacked police personnel, overturned vehicles and hoisted Nishan Sahib, a religious flag, on the ramparts of the Red Fort.

On Thursday, police issued lookout notices against farmer leaders and announced a probe into the “conspiracy” behind the violence.
