District Hub for Empowerment of women Jammu , Mission Shakti organized a health check up camp on 20th March ‘23 in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society Jammu, for the inmates of Raen Basera -the Home for homeless situated in Bahu Fort.
The Camp focused on health checkup of the inmates with the help of IRC, Society Jammu Medical Officer Ms Kavita Nijohn. On the occasion free medicines and hygienic kits were provided to the inmates, besides the general problems faced by them were also discussed.
The Camp was inaugurated by Ms Harvinder Kour(JKAS)Mission Director Mission shakti , Deptt of Social Welfare J&K, who emphasised on the welfare of the inmates.
Others present during the Camp were Ms Shagun Manchanda , District Mission Coordinator ,Mission Shakti,District Hub for Empowerment of Women Jammu. Ms Khushboo Kapte , Gender Specialist , District Hub for Empowerment of Women Jammu, Corporate Ward no 48 Kalka colony Bahu Fort Mr Sham Lal Basin, Superintendent of Raen Basera Ms Beena Bakshi, Pharmacist Indian Red Cross Society Jammu Mr Ravi Kant Magotra & Sh Joginder Kumar and staff of the Home.
